Cost and length of sessions.

​

For individuals, the fee is £60 for 50 minutes.

For couples, the fee is £90 for one hour.

​

Payment is to be made by cash during each session or by bank transfer 24 hours before our session.

Sessions are usually arranged at the same time and day each week where possible and appropriate. Alternative options can be discussed according to what works better for you.

How long will we work together?

 

Time limitations are not set, and we will work out between us how long you continue with counselling. It might be that circumstances mean we will work in a focused way for a short period of weeks or there may be a need for longer-term work.

This is an area for negotiation and trust in the work we do together.

Rewind technique.

Rewind is a technique that has been shown to be highly effective in dealing with PTSD or repeated difficulties due to a traumatic event. Potentially we would only need 3 or 4 sessions to complete this and it is not necessary to disclose full details of the event. See FAQ for more details.
Types of clients.

 

I work with individual adults and couples with a variety of issues, including but not limited to neurodiversity,  anger management, depression, stress, anxiety, relationship or family problems, communication difficulties, low self-esteem or confidence,  and much more.

Online, or face-to-face if applicable.

We will work together via video conferencing using Zoom, Skype, or WhatsApp video - and we can discuss other platforms as needed. We can work out what's best for you before we proceed. I have a very limited number of face-to-face sessions - so please enquire about these if you would like one. 
Cogs

Listening to you without judgement and in complete confidentiality, I offer my insights and aim to help you see how you would like your life to look, and what you may be able to do to bring about those important changes. There is no magic wand, no overnight 'cure', but there is space to decide what is important to you. We can work through any feelings of self-doubt, shame, or fear and begin to hear your voice.

You might feel as though you are alone in dealing with your issues, or feel like you are not coping very well. I will work with you to find better solutions and make decisions that bring about the changes you need to make your life better.

We will explore together if there are changes you could make and I will support you as you make those changes.
